… what a terrible fall! The 28 year old Austrian Florian Scheiber took a very bad fall during practice on the legendary Hahnenkamm downhill slope in Kitzbühel.
Again, it was the notorious Hausbergkante which could have cost the life of one of the best downhill skiers. The young Tirolian suffered the worst kind of sports injury: he tore the cruciate ligament and the meniscus of his right knee. Get well soon! I would like to see you back here next year. Go for it… Yours Daniela
On top of everything else, the weather conditions are getting really bad here in Kitzbühel!
Today at 11:45, when the race is scheduled to start, it is supposed to snow. It is supposed to start snowing at 4 in the morning – a catastrophe for the conditions on the slopes. Please boys, make it safely down the Streif – it’s going to be one hell of a ride. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and I’ll be there live…!
